Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
KZN police are still trying to track down three robbers who held up a restaurant manager in Amanzimtoti and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
The armed gang came to the Arbour Road establishment just after 10pm on Sunday night.
"The manager opened up the back door of the restaurant - allowing a staff member to exit on the way home. Suddenly, he was jumped by two suspects with firearms and a third suspect who has a screwdriver.
"They forced him back into the restaurant, went into the office and were out of the business premises within two minutes - taking the day's takings," he says.
