Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) councillor Reginald Ndima was shot and killed outside his home in Newcastle just over a week ago.

KwaZulu-Natal National Prosecution Authority spokesperson Natasha Kara says 43-year-old Mhlonitshwa Sokhulu and 29-year-old Sbusiso Chocolo stood before a Newcastle magistrate on Tuesday.

"The men were charged with murder, and their matter was postponed to 14 February 2022 for bail information and the accused attorney."
