Suspected KZN vehicle fraudster to appear in PMB court

A suspected vehicle fraudster who tried to skip the country is due to line up in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Hawks officials say after being on the run for three years, he was nabbed when he tried to flee the country at OR Tambo International last week.

KZN spokesperson Bonnie Nxumalo says the suspect allegedly submitted fraudulent documents to purchase a vehicle.
"The suspects allegedly submitted fraudulent documents to apply for vehicle finance at a dealership in PMB for a vehicle worth R1.1 million. During an investigation, fraudulent documents were uncovered."
