Suspected kidnapper of PMB woman to apply for bail
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
A man arrested for allegedly kidnapping and raping a Pietermaritzburg woman is set to apply for bail next week.

Detectives traced the 34-year-old suspect to Shelly Beach on Monday - a few days after the woman was found in a Durban lodge where she was being held.
It's believed the victim left her home last week in search of her missing dog.
The suspect allegedly offered to help her look for the pet.
The woman hadn't been seen or heard from since then - until she was found on Saturday.
The National Prosecuting Authority in the province says the man appeared in the Pinetown Magistrate's Court on Wednesday where the matter was postponed to next Thursday for bail.
