Suspected CIT robber shot dead in KwaMashu
A suspected robber has been shot and killed during an attempted cash-in transit heist in KwaMashu, north of Durban.
National police spokesperson, Vishnu Naidoo says a cash van was targeted by group of robbers while at the Bridge City Centre earlier today.

Naidoo says there was a shootout between the gang and security guards.He says a guard has been wounded.
"At this stage there is no evidence of any money being take," said Naidoo.

He says crime intelligence and forensic investigators are busy trying to find as much evidence as possible.
