Murder suspects nabbed in Durban roadblock

Two suspects wanted for murder have been caught after driving through a routine roadblock in Durban.

Police say the 25 and 30-year-olds are accused of killing a man in Wiggins, west of Durban a week ago.

SAPS spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says the men allegedly attacked and stabbed a 30-year-old man before leaving him for dead.  

The two, who were nabbed at the weekend, are due in court today.

"An operation that included a roadblock in the Cato Manor area resulted in the arrest of two suspects wanted for murder."

Mbele says a murder case was opened after the attack on the 18th of August.
