A suspect has been arrested in connection with last month's murder of a woman at Durban's Glebelands Hostel.
The 31-year-old was taken into custody this morning during a police multi-unit operation.
The victim, 52-year-old S'bongile Mtshali, was shot dead near Block 46 on the night of July 26.

She ran a spaza shop from her room at the hostel.
Mtshali was murdered on the same night that a 32-year-old man - who also ran a shop - was shot dead at P Block.
Zwane says another suspect has been arrest at the hostel for possession of an unlicensed firearm - believed to be used in killings at the hostel.
"In another incident, while the members were patrolling yesterday in Glebelands after a 38-year-old man was shot and killed, they managed to arrest one suspect in possession of an unlicensed firearm.
"It is suspected that it was used in these killings in Umlazi. The suspect will today appear in the Magistrate's Court facing a charge of the possession of an unlicensed firearm," he says.
