KZN suspect in ANCYL member's death hands himself in

KZN police have arrested a 29-year-old man who is alleged to have shot and killed an ANC Youth League member in Umlazi township, south of Durban.
The incident took place yesterday morning, the police's Jay Naicker confirms.
"The suspect then handed himself over to police shortly afterwards. The firearm used in the shooting was also seized. Police in Umlazi are now investigating a case of murder and the unlawful possession of a firearm," Naicker said.
Members of the police's political violence task team are taking over the investigation.

Naicker says the motive of the attack isn't known; however, witnesses have reported that there was an argument between the victim and the gunman before the shooting.
