Students take Fees Must Fall march to seat of power

Student leaders are calling for calm as some protesting students want to move beyond the fence at the Union Buildings in Pretoria in their march for free, higher education.
Students are aligned outside the fence of the Union Buildings, singing. Police have also made use of the water cannons, stun grenades and tear gas to try and move a group away from the fence.
Student leaders have called for calm and are asking for discipline. It appears there's a smaller group within the large group of students aggravated with the way everything has been handled.

Students are waiting for a representative to receive a memorandum stipulating their demands for free education.
There's a strong police presence - with a police aircraft and a Nyala monitoring students who seem resolute on trying to force their way through the gate.
