Students stabbed in political attacks at DUT
Updated | By Nomfundo Ngcobo
Five students were stabbed and injured during violent clashes at DUT's Steve Biko Campus in Durban.
Members of the EFF Student Command and the South African Student Congress have been at each other's throats yesterday.
A video of the incident shows them assaulting each other.
Sasco's Thadazani Ndlovu claims EFFSC members attacked some of their female members as they were setting up banners outside the campus.

"There is a problem at DUT where EFF is saying that Sasco is not doing their duty. So they've always been targeting the females because they are the weakest.
"So yesterday, the comrades decided to retaliate. Anyone who's not an EFF member must be brutalised. Anyone who follows other parties was targeted."
