Stellenbosch University student's alleged murderer arrested

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Durban woman in Cape Town.
Robyn Pearce was stabbed to death in a flat in Sea Point, earlier this month.

The 20-year-old had been studying at Stellenbosch University.
Western Cape SAPS spokesperson Andre Traut says a 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with Pearce's murder, last night.
"A man was arrested last night in Ottery in connection with the murder of Robyn Pearce. He is due to make a court appearance in Cape Town Magistrates Court on Monday the 19th on a charge of murder," he said.
