Steenhuisen storms to victory, elected new DA Leader

The Democratic Alliance’s Federal Congress has elected John Steenhuisen as the party's new leader.
Steenhuisen was elected at the party's two-day virtual congress this weekend.
The Durban born politician stormed to victory over the KZN Legislature member, Mali Ntuli with 88.6 percent of the vote.
Steenhuisen had been acting in the position following the resignation of former leader Mmusi Maimane in October last year.
