Finance Minister, Nhlanhla Nene, has told the Zondo Commission of Inquiry into state capture that although he'd met the Guptas - it was only on a greeting basis.
He's the first sitting minister to testify at the commission.
Nene claims he was removed from his position because he repeatedly refused to tow the line on various projects which he suspected would benefit the controversial Gupta family.

Nene shared an account of one of his brief encounters with the Guptas - whom he says presented themselves as upstanding citizens.
