KZN MEC for Health, Sibongiseni Dhlomo has expressed outrage at the rape and murder of a Grade 11 pupil in KwaXimba, west of Durban.

17-year-old Mbalenhle Magcaba was laid to rest yesterday.
Magcaba's body was found near her school last week.

Dhlomo says he attended the funeral in his capacity as chairperson of the Men's Forum.
"We are going to mobilise men in the province. We are calling upon men in all areas to stand up for the rights of women saying - not in our name, we shall get rid of this evil in our society and have men respecting women and children again in our society," he said.
Magcaba's death comes in the wake of recent attacks on women and children - with President Jacob Zuma saying "something has gone wrong in South Africa".
Hundreds marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria at the weekend to create awareness around violence against women and children.
