The search for the suspects wanted in connection with the murder of two security guards in Soweto two weeks ago has ended in bloodshed in KwaZulu-Natal.
National SAPS spokesperson, Vish Naidoo says the search for Lindokuhle Cebekhulu and Mbuyiselo Mthonti led members of the Gauteng Organised Crime Unit and National Intelligence officers to a shack in an informal settlement in the area.

"In trying to arrest the suspects, they apparently offered resistance which resulted in both of them being shot and killed," said Naidoo.
"Police were able to recover one firearm from the scene. Both suspects were identified, they are known."
