South Coast teen disappears while surfing
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Teams on the south coast were on Friday still searching for a teenage boy who disappeared in the surf while swimming at Mtwalume Beach.
The National Sea Rescue Institute in Shelly Beach was dispatched last night to help the police search and rescue unit look for the 15-year-old.
"On arrival on the scene, the police, search and rescue and ambulance services were in attendance, conducting a search operation. Our NSRI craft launched and joined in the sea and shore line search for the teenager," says the NSRI's Craig Lambinon."
