South Coast Chamber concerned water, potholes will deter tourists

With our borders reopening soon for all international travel, KZN's tourism and hospitality sectors are no doubt preparing for the arrival of holidaymakers from both here and abroad.
The South Coast Chamber of Commerce though says there are some challenges that need to be sorted out urgently.
The Chamber's Lulu Bhodla says numerous guests complained they'd had unpleasant experiences in the past, due to potholes and water cuts.
He says if these problems aren't addressed soon, they could deter people from visiting the south coast.

"The issue of the potholes, how our people are going to enjoy staying down here," he said.
"How can you accommodate people when there is no water."
"You need water for bathing, you need water for the toilet. You see, the issue of potholes is annoying people from other areas because their cars, some have got very low cars, sometimes your rim is damaged."
