Smooth start to first week of 2018 school term: KZN Education

Education officials say they're pleased with the progress by schools to get learning and teaching off the ground on day one this week.

Pupils across the country returned to school following the end-of-year break on Wednesday.
KZN Education's Muzi Mahlambi says despite a few minor hiccups, they're hoping for smooth sailing in 2018.
"Everything must go smoothly. We delivered stationery and textbooks to schools last year, registration of learners as early as October when we concluded the programme then attended to special cases in terms of admissions.
"We started very well and are hoping everything will go well throughout the year," he says.ALSO
