School admission issues to be reported to district office: KZN Education
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
While many children are already diving into their homework, some are still waiting to get into a classroom.
KZN Education says it's aware that a number of parents in Durban are struggling to find schools that can accommodate their children as many of them are full.
Education's Elijah Mhlangu has advised these parents to head to their district office for assistance.
"Make sure that you go there. Our officials are waiting to assist you. They have information in terms of the capacity of each school. They know their involvement rates at this point. They will be able to refer you to a school which still has space. If you are sitting at a school, make sure that you leave. You are causing disruptions and people are now uncomfortable because of you there," he says.
