The family of an elderly woman murdered in uMgababa on the south coast says they are pleased with the sentence handed down to her killer.
The Pietermaritzburg High Court sentenced Thokozani Mhlongo to two life terms this week.
He admitted to killing Zanele Mbuso and Monica Xulu, who hired him to work as a security guard at the crèche she ran in August.

Mbuso worked in the kitchen.
The spokesperson for her family, Dawn Gounden, says they still have some unanswered questions.
"They are really traumatised at this moment. I have spoken to them, and they are very emotional at this time. I think that they didn't realise that it was going to be such a quick process.
"They are still questioning that there were a lot of things that was not stated in terms of the court proceedings."
