Skeletal remains found at Umdloti construction site

Skeletal remains have been found at a building site in Umdloti, north of Durban.

According to Marshall Security, a construction worker discovered them on Thursday while working.
It says police were called and the area was cordoned off.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala said: "A skull was found at a construction site in Umdloti.
"The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated. An inquest docket has been opened for investigation."

Meanwhile, there's an investigation following the drowning of a nine-year-old boy in KwaMakhutha, south of Durban.
Police say he'd been swimming with other children in the Mbokodweni River on Thursday when he started struggling in the water.
His body was recovered later on the same day after search and rescue officials found it at a depth of five metres.
