PHOTOS: Six vehicles torched in Mandeni gun attack
KZN police are investigating the motive behind a gun battle in Mandeni, north of Durban, that also saw six vehicles being torched.
It's unclear who was behind the shooting but according to eye witness reports, it may be linked to a dispute between taxi associations in the area.
Paramedics who were on the scene say gunshots were exchanged for more than half an hour at a taxi rank late yesterday afternoon.

The police's Nqobile Gwala says several minibuses were set alight.
"Several shots were fired and no one sustained injuries. A motive for the attack is yet to be established as investigations continue," Gwala said.
