Six men killed during meeting at Mariannhill home

Police in KwaZulu-Natal are investigating another mass shooting.

Six men were killed in Mariannhill, west of Durban on Monday.
SAPS spokesperson Jay Naicker says a large group of men had gathered at a house on Demat Street for a meeting.

"The reason for the meeting is unknown at this stage.
"It is alleged that some of the men opened fire on the group resulting in six of the men being fatally wounded whilst one is seriously injured in hospital.
"The deceased's ages range between 30 and 50 years old. The motive for the shooting is unclear and detectives from the Provincial Organised Crime Unit are investigating."
