Six killed in separate KZN crashes

Emergency services personnel were kept busy in KZN this past weekend.

Six people have been killed and dozens of others left hurt in multiple collisions across the province. 

In the latest incident, four people lost their lives when a car and a truck collided in the KwaDlangezwa area near the University of Zululand.

Police say two women and two men were killed in the accident. 

It has been established that the men were brothers.

Meanwhile, six people were left injured in a crash involving a minibus taxi and a vehicle on the corner of Umbilo and Deodar Road.

On Saturday morning, three women died on the N3 near Spaghetti Junction.

Police say at this point it’s believed the driver lost control of the vehicle that overturned.
