Gauteng police have made a breakthrough in their investigation into the murder of Kaizer Chiefs defender Luke Fleurs during an apparent hijacking.
They have arrested six suspects in Slovoville, Soweto.
The soccer player's vehicle had already been stripped and was found on Monday.
Gauteng police spokesperson Mavela Masondo says the 24-year-old Premiership star was shot and his vehicle stolen in the Honeydew area last week.
