Kaizer Chiefs defender Luke Fleurs shot and killed

Gauteng police have launched a manhunt following the murder of Kaizer Chiefs defender Luke Fleurs.
The 24-year-old was shot and killed allegedly during a hijacking on Wednesday.
Fleurs joined Chiefs as a free agent in October last year, having been released by SuperSport United in September.

Gauteng police spokesperson, Mavela Masondo, says a case of murder and hijacking has been opened for investigation.
"It is reported that the victim drove into the petrol station in 14th Avenue. While waiting to be served by the petrol attended, he was confronted by two armed males. The suspects pointed the victim with a firearm and took him out of his vehicle then shot him once on the upper body."
