Significant fuel price drop expected

A fuel price decrease could be on the cards next month.
The drop in the price of crude oil to around $45 a barrel has meant the price of fuel is in line to drop significantly.
Economist, Dawie Roodt says consumers can expect a significant decrease.

"At the moment, it seems the petrol price can easily fall by 60 to 70 cents a litre over the next couple of weeks. This is certainly good news and it will have a positive impact for things such as the inflation rate," he said.
Meanwhile, the Automobile Association says future reviews of South Africa's sovereign credit ratings could place the price under pressure.
