Siam Lee case returns to Durban Magistrate's Court

The family and loved ones of murdered Durban North woman, Siam Lee will return to the Durban Magistrate's Court today, where the man arrested in connection with her kidnapping and death will make a formal bail application.

The 29-year-old is facing 16 charges.

Family friend and spokesperson, Sue Foster says Lee's mother is still coming to terms with her death.

"She is a mom, Siam was her life. They were inseparable," she said.

The 20-year-old was laid to rest in a private ceremony last week.

She went missing from outside an alleged brothel in Margaret Maytom Avenue in early January.

Her badly burnt body was found two days later on a farm in New Hanover in the KZN Midlands.
