Several eShowe roads shut due to protests
There's protest action this morning on the P230 in eShowe. Officials say that the protest is over service delivery.
The road has been closed to traffic.
Police and the Umlalazi municipality are on the scene.

It is confirmed that a protest broke out this morning at 5am where a group of people blockaded the R66, P230 and R34 Road in eShowe.
"They are burning the tyres and blockaded the road with logs and stones. The road is still closed and motorists are advised to use alternate routes. The police are at the scene to monitor and stabilise the situation," says Captain Nqobile Gwala.
