Seven people have been killed in a shooting at Umlazi's Glebelands
Hostel, south of Durban.
Police say nine men were consuming alcohol in a room in Block 57 on Saturday morning when unknown suspects entered and opened fire on them.
Seven of them were declared dead at the scene while two others were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

Police spokesperson, Jay Naicker says the motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.
"Detectives from the Provincial Task Team have been instructed to probe the incident. Anyone who has information that can assist in the investigation is requested to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or use the MYSAPS APP."
