Senzo Meyiwa's father wants closure on son's death
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The father of murdered Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa has approached the Minister of Police questioning the investigations into his son's death.
Meyiwa was shot dead in October 2014 at East Rand home of his girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo, in what's thought to have been a robbery gone wrong.
While, Fikile Mbalula was addressing reporters following his walkabout of Glebelands Hostel, Sam Meyiwa came down a pathway with a folder of newspaper clippings and other documents in tow.
As Mbalula was turning to leave, Meyiwa stopped him and proceeded to express his dissatisfaction about the investigation into Senzo's murder.

Meyiwa said he was unhappy that police had made no arrests - nearly three years after his son was killed.
A sympathetic Mbalula placed his hands on Meyiwa's shoulders and listened intently as the frustrated father explained what he knew about the investigations while ruffling through the contents of his folder.
After they spoke, Mbalula asked an official who was with him to take Meyiwa's details.
Earlier this year, Mbalula promised to prioritise Senzo Meyiwa's case - promising arrests.
