Meyiwa's brother - Siyabonga says they are looking forward to finally seeing justice.

"It gave us a lot of joy because such a day we would gave commemorated it. Today marks a different day. There is hope now."

He says his father Sam, who died in July last year, would have been a happy man.

"Today is a victory, but it feels hollow because he is nowhere to hear what happened. He died with his heart very sore because there was no movement."
