Second death confirmed in Durban protests

Police have confirmed a second death in the violent protests that broke out in parts of Durban last night and continued into the morning.

They say a 22-year-old man was shot and killed by a shop owner after a large group of people looted and burned shops in Greenwood Park last night.
Two other people were wounded.
Cases of murder and attempted murder have been opened, while two suspects have been arrested for public violence.
This morning - a woman died after falling through a roof at China Mall in Springfield Park while apparently running away from protesters.
Rescue Care spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson says two other men who were also running on the roof also fell through.
An inquest docket has been opened by police.
