Search for suspects following Durban North armed robbery
KZN authorities have launched a manhunt for four robbers who broke into a Durban North home and tied up a mother and her three children.
Reports from the scene are that the gang scaled the walls of the property and gained entry into the home by removing a window early yesterday morning.
Kyle van Reenen is with Marshall Security, a private security company that was called to the scene.
"Their hands were bound with duct tape before they were confined to a bedroom, whilst armed men ransacked the home - removing flat screen televisions and other electronic equipment. They then fled in an unknown direction. At this stage, the suspects are unknown and the SA police service is investigating further," he said.
