Search for man in Tugela River enters third day

Search and rescue officials in Bergville are on their third day of scouring the Tugela River for a missing car passenger.
The vehicle plunged into the river on Sunday during heavy rains in the KZN town at the foot of the Drakensberg.
KZN police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says it's believed the car veered off the road at Ematsheni.

"The driver was rescued, and the passenger went missing. A case of a missing person is under investigation.
"Police officers who are members of the Ladysmith K9 search and rescue unit are currently on-site at the Tugela River in the Ematsheni are conducting a search for a 49-year-old man who went missing."
