Search for driver in Durban M4 hit-and-run

KwaZulu-Natal police are searching for the driver who is believed to be responsible for a hit and run incident along the M4 earlier today.
It is alleged the motorist ploughed into a group of cyclists near the M41 off-ramp, leaving five of them injured.
Paramedics who responded to the scene, say the victims had to be rushed to hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage, however the police's Thulani Zwane says they will be investigating.
"We are very concerned about these incidents that are taking place along the M4. Motorists must please drive carefully and take extra precautions whenever they see cyclists traveling along the road."
Zwane says they are appealing to any witnesses to come forward and provide information.
