Members of the KwaZulu-Natal police search and rescue team returned to the Umlazi River, south of Durban, on Monday.

The team resumed the search for a missing 9-year-old boy.
It's understood that the child was playing at the Umlazi River bridge foothold before he got into difficulty and went under yesterday.
In a statement, police confirmed that they have opened a missing persons case for the child who is presumed to have drowned.
The founder of the National Youth Academy SA Pumlani Ntetha, who works closely with the community, there says the boy's family is distraught.
“They saw the child in the water, within the water, and they tried to get in. There were some family members who tried to go into the river.
“When he was about to grab the child, the child just drowned and vanished. They are all so devastated and they don’t know what to do.”
