UPDATE: Search for man missing in Durban harbour suspended until Saturday

The search for a man who went missing when a canoe capsized off Wilson's Wharf in Durban has been suspended. The vessel tipped over in the early afternoon. Two other occupants were rescued and treated for minor injuries. The search is set to resume tomorrow morning.

One person is missing after a canoe capsized just off Wilson's Wharf in the Port of Durban.
Emergency services say two other people have been pulled from the water.

Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says they sustained minor injuries.It is still unclear what caused the watercraft to flip.
Jamieson says the SAPS and Durban Metro Police Search and Rescue Unit, together with members of the National Sea Rescue Institute are busy searching for the missing person.
"Paramedics and rescuers are currently on the NSRI boat searching the area around the damaged canoe," said Jamieson.
