The Saunter: A reason to revisit KZN
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
If you haven't made plans to experience home-grown artistry and cuisine along the east coast of KZN, now is the perfect time to do so.

The Saunter - the brainchild of The Gillitts Foundation - are a selection of routes within areas spanning from the north of Durban to the outer west - showcasing local artists, craft, collectibles and activity trails.
This includes Durban North, Pinetown, Westville, Hillcrest, Pietermaritzburg and Hilton - to name a few.
This also features over 100 talents and business-owners.

Locals can create their own itineraries or make bookings on the official site - with maps to guide guests to their destination.
The foundation's Cheryl Lefevre says their hope is for lesser known parts of the city to be celebrated.
"We always hear of people coming to Durban - going to the beaches and then off to the Midlands. We have such a beautiful area here - the coast, the gorges and all the way up to Hilton. The idea was to try keep the tourists here longer, bring new tourists and give locals something wonderful to do," she says.
