Social grant beneficiaries are being warned of another scam.
The SA Social Security Agency says there have been smses circulating - claiming that beneficiaries' cards need to be replaced with new ones as soon as possible.
"People have been going around giving our beneficiaries false information that they need to change their cards. We have warned our beneficiaries that they should not fall for these particular scams," Paseka Letsatsi said.

Letsatsi says the current SASSA cards are valid until the end of this year.
"If the card changes - we as SASSA will come to the people and we will formally talk to them," he said.
