Sardine run expected to hit KZN soon
Updated | By Lauren Hendricks
Sardines should soon be swimming upstream to the south coast.

"There is a lot of activity south of Port St Johns at the moment," says KZN Sharks Board's Wayne Harrison.
"It seems as though there is even a possibility of it on the Eastern Cape side being one of the better showings in a number of years."
Harrison says the tiny silverfish will bring with them a hive of activity from other marine life after a snack.

"The activity consists of bottlenose dolphins, common dolphins, whales, humpback whales and your various different species of shark. This has come through from East London over the past couple of weeks.
"We had an exceptional run come up to the Eastern Cape, and at the moment, it looks as though the majority is south of Port St Johns."
Harrison says dive charters will begin in the new month, which they will be getting a lot of feedback from.
