Sardine activity increasing along the coast: KZN Sharks Board

Sardines are on the move and the silver fish are making their way slowly to the KwaZulu-Natal coastline and the fisherman and netters awaiting their arrival.
The KwaZulu-Natal Sharks Board says is has received reports of sardine-related activity off the Eastern Cape coast between the Nqabara river mouth and Dwesa Marine reserve.

Large shoals of the fish have been spotted, with thousands of gannets in the area.However, the sharks board says it remains difficult to say when the shoals will reach our shores.
Spokesperson, Greg Thompson says people must be patient, as the sardine run is always unpredictable:
