No sardine activity on KZN coastline just yet: Sharks board
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
The KwaZulu-Natal Sharks Board has poured cold water on reports that some sardine netting took place on the lower south coast at the weekend.
The board's Greg Thompson dismissed the reports as rumours.

He says poor weather conditions and strong winds have been keeping sardines away from our province's coastline for now."The dive boats have been launching from the Port St Johns river mouth, so we'll hopefully get some feedback from them soon. In terms of activity further south in the Eastern Cape, it has also been pretty quiet over the past few days," said Thompson.
The annual sardine run sees millions of the silver fish migrating northwards along the KwaZulu-Natal coast.
