SAPS Probe Ballito construction site deaths
KZN Police have launched an investigation into the bank collapse at a construction site in Ballito.
Yesterday, four workers were killed after a bank at a residential construction site on Zen Drive collapsed and buried them under the rubble.
One person survived and is currently recovering in hospital.

Police spokesperson, Robert Netshiunda, says fourteen construction workers were at the bottom of the escarpment building a gabion retaining wall, when the wall collapsed and buried five workers underneath.
“Inquest dockets have been opened for investigation. Circumstances that led to the collapse of the wall also form part of police investigations."
