Four killed in construction site collapse in Ballito
Four people have died and one has been found alive after a bank at a construction site in Ballito collapsed.
IPSS first responders along with the KwaDukuza Municipality (KDM) fire department were the first to respond to the scene on Zen Drive this morning.

Spokesperson, Sam Meyrick says of the five workers trapped in the wreckage, two are still missing.
“Bodies have yet to be recovered due to further collapses of the bank. However, excavation has begun at the site.
“There are multiple rescue teams on scene, including the Ethekweni Fire Department, Durban Metro Police Search and Rescue and SAPS K9 Search and Rescue.”
