Santaco in KZN to review fares following latest fuel hike
Updated | By Xolani Khumalo
The South African National Taxi Council (Santaco) in KZN says it will have to review its decision not to hike taxi fares.
The taxi council says its provincial executive council will be meeting on Wednesday to discuss the matter.
This is in light of the fuel price price increases in the past few months, with prices set to go up again tonight.

KZN Santaco spokesperson Sifiso Shangase says consumers and the taxi industry are expected to feel the impact of the anticipated fuel price hike.
"For now, there has not been any changes but we also anticipate that they might take into account this huge increment that is going to be taking place, especially from R0.80 cents to R1.43 cents, R1.46 cents."
