SANDF: Repatriation plans for S.Africans in Wuhan at advanced stage

The South African National Defence Force says repatriation plans for South Africans living in Wuhan in China are at an advanced stage.
The evacuations were ordered by President Cyril Ramaphosa last week as COVID-19 continues to spread globally.
Wuhan is the centre of the outbreak and has been in lockdown.
SANDF spokesperson, Siphiwe Dlamini says a team of planners are working on the logistics.
"Soon as our planners are satisfied with the plans that they have, then the commencement of the repatriation will be done."

"Our repatriation planning process is currently at an advanced stage, and it takes into consideration all related matters to the logistics for the operation."
Meanwhile, the University of KwaZulu-Natal says it's set up a hotline for staff, students and members of the public who have questions about COVID-19.
It says its campus health war room will enabling academics and researchers to monitor the spread of the coronavirus.
