Saftu March: Workers struggling with current minimum wage

Workers participating in Durban's SAFTU march say they're subjected to harsh working conditions and many of them are living in poverty.

More than a thousand people are making their way from King Dinuzulu Park in the CBD ahead of the procession to City Hall.
They say government's new minimum wage of R20 an hour is not enough.
A truck driver - who travels long distances - says they want government to know that they can't live like this.

He says he never knows how much he's going to get at the end of every month.
A hotel employee says they want rights to equal pay.
Police have urged motorists to keep away from Pixley Ka Seme Street - the old West Street - until the demonstration's over.
