Members of the South African Federation of Trade Unions and Independent Municipal and Allied Trade Union marched to the offices of the CCMA in Durban on Monday.

They are complaining about the performance of the statutory body and are calling for an efficient and independent labour dispute resolution institution.
SAFTU KZN provincial secretary Moses Mautsoe says some municipal workers are also being denied the right to join a union.
"They have been denied the stop order by eThekwini Municipality and they are denied the right to hold meetings in the workplace."
