SA parties come out in numbers to mark Women's Day
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
As South Africa commemorates Women's Day, political parties will be hosting events to mark the occasion around the province.
The day is in honour of the thousands of women who marched to the Unions Buildings in 1956, calling for pass laws to be scrapped.
The ANC KZN's Mbali Frazer says they'll be in Mkhambathini.
"Let's start by supporting each other. We are saying to women - you must know what's happening in your neighbourhood. We are also saying as women, let's speak out - enough is enough," Frazer said.

The IFP's Thembeni kaMadlopha-Mthethwa says they will hold their Women's Day rally in Ngwelezane on Saturday.
"All women will go there - carrying placards. We will move to Ngwelezane Sports Field to have a rally, different speakers including young women as well as victims and survivors of abuse that are going to be part of the programme," kaMadlopha-Mthethwa said.
